At Isla El Descanso, Xreal took place a unique event that blends nature, technology, and art into an unparalleled sensory experience. This event was designed to portray the transition from day to night through artworks and technological installations experienced while walking around the island. Notable artists featured included Gyula Kosice, Miguel Ángel Vidal, Julio Le Parc, and Marta Minujín.

Xreal aimed not only to showcase art but also to create a fully immersive environment, allowing attendees to feel the shift from a daytime to a nighttime atmosphere. Our challenge was to develop the technological artistic experiences that would bring this narrative to life, and we embraced it with creativity.

From the outset, our team set out to transform Isla El Descanso into a dynamic and original stage. We utilized mapping projections to create visual effects that directly impacted natural elements. These projections not only beautified the landscape but also seamlessly blended with the existing artworks, creating a perfect bond between the natural and the digital.

The addition of 3D holograms over nine meters tall brought a surreal element to the event. Along with lasers and light effects, they transformed the surroundings, highlighting the island’s natural features and creating a magical atmosphere.

To complement the visual experience, we developed a “silent” party where music was enjoyed through headphones. This innovation allowed attendees to fully immerse themselves in the experience without disturbing the island’s natural tranquility, achieving a perfect balance between enjoyment and environmental respect.

Xreal was a resounding success. The technological solutions implemented not only met but exceeded the event’s vision, elevating the level of interaction and attendee satisfaction. The positive feedback and media coverage highlighted the innovation and creativity of our work, solidifying Xreal as an unforgettable experience.
